PET SCAN
PET (Positron Emission Tomography) is a powerful and non-invasive diagnostic tool
The most important and major application of PET-CT is in the diagnosis of cancer diseases. PET-CT is a device that allows simultaneous imaging of the metabolic and anatomical features of the lesion, especially in fast-growing malignant cells. This method is able to detect small lesions through PET and determine its location more precisely through CT. The advantage of simultaneously performing two examination methods in the form of one method and completing it in a short period of time (30 minutes), has turned PET-CT into a scientific and accurate method for examining cancer.
Ferdows Pet Scan Center with more than 10 years of experience is working as the first center having cyclotron and to be self-sufficient in the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and the presence of specialists in two fields of radiology and nuclear medicine in the preparation of patient scan reports and also with the benefit of advanced equipment and personnel Education is in progress.
